[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide historic trail is to promote heritage tourism by developing historic “product” outside the city in 10-12 communities, each community will have its history researched, historic buildings documented, stories, images, and oral histories collected, educational signs and brochures developed, and a web-based tour created, community engagement is a crucial element in telling each area’s history to government authority located in Columbia, SC.
- The second objective is to create a website to centralize information on community histories, to
make connections with other available historical resources, and to provide research materials and
virtual tours, the website will utilize state education curriculum standards to ensure information
and activities become a classroom resource.
- Develop a program that will engage three to four communities per year in unincorporated county, components for each community will include historical research of the area, site briefs for historically significant buildings, digitization of photos, letters, and documents, oral histories, waysides, kiosk, and historic marker development and installation, printed brochure for self-guided tour, public programs to gather and disseminate information, web-based tour and classroom educational materials that meet dept. of education curriculum standards.
- Develop a website that incorporates community histories, RCCC projects and videos, virtual tours, k-12 educational components, personalized thematic and geographic tours, local historical organizations’ resources, tourism connections, library and university resources and historical evolution of geographical areas of the county.
- Develop branding design for county-wide use of signage, wayfinding, waysides, printed
materials, and advertising and develop connections and collaboration between local historical organizations and city library.
(2) A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on May 29, 2019.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location
