Government Authority located in Columbia, South Carolina; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for consulting services for stormwater management program.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide consulting services for stormwater management program on an as needed basis to the government authority located in Columbia, SC.
- Work with the Education Program Coordinator to build upon permit requirements to implement programs to reduce pollution to local waterways by raising awareness about water quality, watersheds, and non-point source pollution in the community,
- Coordinate with the Stormwater Management Division to develop a strategy to build relationships with neighbourhood and community groups in unaddressed parts,
- Coordinate with stormwater management division to hold focus groups, and community meetings to identify ways to create effective messaging,
- Consult in the development of targeted messages and help determine modes of delivery based on community feedback,
- Assist in creating informational bilingual publications that focus on non-point source pollution prevention methods,
- Assist in coordinating and increasing participation of volunteers in Adopt-a-Stream to increase the number of monitoring locations, particularly of waterways of concern and sensitive waterways,
- Consult in the development of a waterway or stream cleaning visual monitoring program,
- Help coordinate efforts to identify illicit discharges, debris in stream, and develop tracking protocol to begin to identify potential sources of bacteria, other pollutants,
- Assist in the development and implementation of stormwater related materials and programs based on feedback from the community,
- Attend a minimum of two community meetings per quarter, and provide Stormwater Management with meeting minutes and updates.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
