[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide governmental affairs and relations services to the government authority located in Charleston, SC.
- To provide a high quality legislative and governmental affairs presence for the college and to increase the awareness of the college and its mission and goals among members of the legislature, congress and the broader government community.
- To work with the governor’s office, the state fiscal accountability authority, the commission on higher education, other state agencies, and appropriate federal partners to foster the continuing development,
- To monitor other legislative issues and government actions in which the college has an interest and to work on such issues as the college may request,
- The primary issues to be addressed are:
- Allocation of public funds primarily associated with financing higher education,
- Special appropriations for capital improvements, to include possible bond appropriations, Capital Reserve fund appropriations and any other public resource,
- Monitoring and engaging in the legislative process when required,
- Good will development on behalf of the college with legislative and executive functions of government at either or both the state and federal level.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 2, 2019.
