Government authority located in Charleston, South Carolina; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for IT and project management professional certification training service.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide in-classroom IT and project management professional certification training service to the government authority located in Charleston, SC.
- The Contractor shall provide three instructor led-classroom training courses. The anticipated class
size for each offering is 12 or 15 students. Contractor shall present instructor-led classroom sessions
to VA personnel as follows:
A. Course Title & Description: CompTIA A+ Training: This five-day (35 hours) course provides an in-depth review of the most common hardware and software technologies in business and certifies the skills necessary to support complex IT infrastructure. It is designed to assist VA personnel with their responsibilities of implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT systems. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
• Identify the components of standard desktop personal computers
• Identify fundamental components and functions of personal computer operating systems
• Identify best practices followed by professional personal computer technicians
• Install and configure computer components
• Install and configure system components
• Maintain and troubleshoot peripheral components
• Troubleshoot system components
• Install and configure operating systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot installations of Microsoft Windows
• Identify network technologies
• Install and manage network connections
• Support laptops and portable computing devices
• Support printers
• Identify personal computer security concepts
• Support personal computer security
B. Course Title & Description: Installation Storage & Compute with Windows Server 2016 This five-day (35 hours) course is intended for students who have some experience with Windows Server and who will be responsible for managing storage and compute by using Windows Server 2016. It is designed to assist VA personnel with their responsibilities of implementing server-based systems on the VA enterprise network. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
• Prepare and install Nano Server, a Server Core installation, and plan a server upgrade and migration strategy
• Describe the various storage options, including partition table formats, basic and dynamic
disks, file systems, virtual hard disks, and drive hardware, and explain how to manage disks and
volumes.
• Describe enterprise storage solutions, and select the appropriate solution for a given
situation.
• Implement and manage Storage Spaces and Data Deduplication.
• Install and configure Microsoft Hyper-V, and configure virtual machines.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Windows and Hyper-V containers.
• Describe the high availability and disaster recovery technologies in Windows Server 2016.
• Plan, create, and manage a failover cluster.
• Implement failover clustering for Hyper-V virtual machines.
• Configure a Network Load Balancing (NLB) cluster, and plan for an NLB implementation.
• Create and manage deployment images.
• Manage, monitor, and maintain virtual machine installations
C. Course Title & Description: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Prep: This five-day (35 hour) course shall provide training that enables students to obtain a clear understanding of all the materials and concepts, so they can successfully pass the PMP Certification Exam.
• Students will learn the project management definitions, concepts and perspectives based on the methodology from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
• Students will be able to measure their grasp of the project management concepts taught each day through discussions of concrete examples and hands-on exercises to explain the PMI processes.
• Students will be able to measure their level of understanding of the material based on their performance on practice quizzes and using exercises provided in the Student Workbook as well as online practice exam resources.
(2) This bid is set aside for total small business.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
