[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide herbicide application services to the government authority located in North Charleston, SC.
- Herbicide application to control approximately 170 drainage ways 350 acres +/- of brush and woody, vines vegetation or inhabit vegetation growth and seed head formation of weeds, johnson grass and in order to reduce mowing and trimming requirements while allowing for bermuda grass, centipede grass, rye grass and grass release.
- Herbicide application shall eliminate brush and woody vegetation, in areas of specified drainage ways.
- Due to its proximity to moving water, portions of the treatable areas are in an aquatic area. These aquatic populations of vegetation are still considered a target in this management plan.
- Minimize grasses vegetation height to 10-12 inches or less while necessitating no greater than two mowing cycles per calendar year.
- Retard growth of grasses and eliminate broadleaf weeds, brush and woody vegetation.
- Introduce no damage to adjacent agricultural crops.
- Induce no damage to adjacent privately maintained lawns or landscape.
- There will be 3 applications per year, contractor to be responsible for the exact timing in order to keep grass an overall height of 10-12 inches.
- Application frequency and dates shall be determined by the contractor to meet the performance specifications in this document.
(2) A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Monday, April 25, 2019.
(3) All written questions must be submitted no later than April 30, 2019.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
