[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide medical control officer services for complete Medical Direction for all EMS personnel;
REQUIREMENTS
• The medical director shall review all patient care reports as required by South DHECEMS Division.
• The medical director will assist with recertification requirements for National Registry and the State of South Carolina.
• The medical director shall be responsible to update and keep current the EMS standing orders/protocols for PCEMS. Protocols will be reviewed and updated on a bi-annual basis at minimum.
• The medical director shall maintain a working relationship with the paramedics and be able and willing to implement programs and techniques as he/she observes a need for the progression of the EMS services.
• The medical director shall assist in the continuing education of paramedics, AEMT’s and EMT’s by occasionally participating in EMS training programs and collaborating with PCEMS’s EMS training officer on various projects.
• The medical director shall assist in evaluating the overall EMS system and initiate changes as needed in conjunction with PCEMS.
• The medical director, having a contractual agreement with PCEMS, shall be an advocate for the certified EMS personnel employed by Pickens County. Being such, he/she shall give notification to Pickens County before entering into other contracts or agreements as medical director with any other EMS provider at any level of certification and will participate in an impact evaluation discussion with PCEMS Administrative staff. to the government authority located in Pickens, SC.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
