Government Authority located in South Carolina; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for customer information system and utility billing software evaluation and recommendation.
[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide customer information system and utility billing software evaluation and recommendation to enable mount pleasant waterworks to select a proposer who possesses highly qualified and reliable consultant skills, specializing in utility billing software and customer information systems. The proposer will evaluate MPW’s current customer service objectives, current technology, CIS products and integrations, and make a recommendation for billing software or CIS and CIS master plan.
(a) Assessment of MPW’s business processes and practices related to customer information, customer contact and billing.
(b) Analysis of the business, customer, and stakeholder needs related to customer information and billing.
(c) Review of functionalities, strengths and weaknesses of the existing utility billing system: Advanced CIS Infinity Version 3. Perform gap analysis of current and future needs and capabilities.
(d) Analysis of systems and processes that interface with the current billing system (Sensus Analytics, Invoice Cloud, Payment us (IVR and Teleworks outbound notification system), Infosend (bill print), GIS, along with consideration for future (next 3-5 years) implementation of AMI customer portal, Maximo integration, and online utility exchange, and finance systems integration.
(e) Assist MPW project team in evaluation of CIS products and selection of a vendor, including facilitation of vendor demonstrations.
(f) Recommendation from consultant on their preferred CIS for MPW, and why they are recommending those particular products.
(g) Assist in development of overall project implementation timeline.
(h) Assist MPW project team and procurement department in the negotiation of scope of work and costs for Advanced CIS Infinity Version 4 or alternate.
(i) Review implementation, data conversion and training schedules with vendor and CIS project team.
(j) Assist CIS project team and selected vendor in development of criteria for data conversion and testing to ensure accurate data conversion.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
